Spiral-Max® Gaskets
Spiral-Max® Gaskets are mode from various alloy strips combined with specified sealing composites, following ASME BE16.20 standards. The strips are wound around a mandrel and spot-welded to ensure stability, with at least three welds around the inner and outer layers. These gaskets are engineered for effective sealing under demanding conditions, accommodating varying loads due to temperature fluctuations. The dealing composite’s thickness determines the gasket’s pressure tolerance, with thinner composites allowing for more alloy content and higher pressure resistance.
Black-Max® Gaskets
Black-Max® gaskets are crafted from foil-reinforced, exfoliated graphite, featuring multiple layers of exfoliated graphite foil and 316 stainless steel for enhanced stability. The proprietary graphite used in Black-Max® is chemically inert (pH 0-14) and highly resistant to the chemicals used in boiler water treatment. Field tests by major end-users confirm that Black-Max® gaskets achieve zero leakage in both steam and cold-water hydro tests.
White-Max® Gaskets
White-Max® gaskets are designed for inspection ports of boilers and tanks, providing reliable sealing with low stress and excellent dimensional stability. Made from expanded pure PTFE, they are soft highly compressible, and ideal for worn or warped boiler plates. These gaskets effectively fill flange imperfections for a tight seal and have good creep resistance and bolt torque retention. FDA compliant, they do not support bacterial growth or cause contamination.
Topog-E® S180 Gaskets
Topog-E® S180 gaskets conform perfectly to the topography of mating surfaces, enduring a boiler’s full range of continuous and cycling pressures. They resist continuous exposure to water treatment chemicals and withstand ion and oxygen attacks in hot air. These gaskets ensure leak-free performance and are easily replaceable without the need for chiseling or buffing
Blue-Max® Gaskets
Blue-Max® manhole and handhole gaskets are engineered to provide all the durability, resilience, and sealing properties of an asbestos gasket, but without the asbestos. The material is cut and formed to the desired size and shape, the coated with proprietary Teflon material per MIL SPEC T-27730A. The finished gasket is easily installed, delivers trouble free service, and does its part to reduce expensive boiler maintenance and downtime.
